We visited two distinct areas for our Spanish hiking experiences.  We spent a week with the Valencia Mountain Enthusiasts on a guided series of walks around the Valencia Region.

Later on we spent a week in the Sierra Nevada, this time doing some self-guided hikes.

In both cases our expectations of Spanish hiking were well an truly exceeded.  So much variety!  Its a great place for European hiking in the months of March and April.
