Apartment

Our apartment is on the sixth floor of the Grand Bois apartment block. On the picture below, this is the block in the middle, stepped into the hillside. The apartment gets all the morning sun and the view of the valley and the mountains beyond is breathtaking.

Everything in the village is walking distance away, with the shops taking a couple of minutes to reach. The apartment has its own security door controlled car parking space. This is a communal underground car park opposite the Sherpa shop (first left after the bus stop in the village and before the first roundabout). Please see map for locations

Please let us know if you need to use the car parking space as we'll need to send you the electronic key. If you do drive to La Tania, we would suggest you park in the underground car park first and use the lifts to carry your bags to the apartment.

Please see below for a basic outline plan of the apartment and some pictures to get an idea of what it is like.

Chalet

Due to people asking us about group bookings with some catering provided, we are offering this service for a two week period in July. However, it may be possible to arrange for additional dates for groups wanting to stay at different times this summer. Please contact us to see if we can arrange this for you.

Chalet Nicole is a traditional wooden building that is very comfortable. It boasts all the luxuries of modern living, including en-suite bedrooms, sauna, and soft furnishings. Its spacious lounge offers very comfortable seating, set around a central fireplace, creating a classic alpine ambience. The large balcony offers great views of the mountains and the valley below.

The Chalet can comfortably sleep up to 16 persons (18 at a squeeze) over three floors. It consists of:

  • Ground floor: garage or large storage space, sauna and staff accommodation
  • First floor: four twin en-suite rooms with bath/shower, toilet and basin.
  • Second floor: one twin en-suite room with shower, toilet and basin, separate bunkroom, lounge with central fireplace, satellite TV, video, CD player (please bring own video tapes and CDs), dining room, kitchen and balcony.
  • Third floor: two twin en-suite rooms with bath, toilet and basin.
There is ample parking with a secure lockable garage for those with motor bikes or bicycles. It is a little further away from the village's facilities than the apartment (see resort map – Chalet 59) but this distance is still no more than 5 minutes walk.
